Sunny Leone Film Goes To The Tribunal
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Pritish Nandy's battle to get his film cleared goes to the next level
Pritish Nandy's political clout has failed so far. His attempts to get the I & B Ministry to convince the Censor Board for a green signal to his Sunny Leone starrer Mastizaade have borne no fruit. Left with no option, Nandy has approached the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT).
Mastizaade has been rejected twice by the Censor Board - once each by the Examining and Revising Committee.
Sources say Censor Chief Pahlaj Nihalani and his team felt that the film is too explicit. Nandy, on the other hand, refused to mellow down his product.
Will Nandy's efforts finally make his film see the light of day? Time will tell. The FCAT screening is slated for early next week.
